China PM Rebukes Burma over Dam Dispute Print E-mail

"Implementing important China-Myanmar cooperative projects is in the interests of both countries," Premier Wen Jiabao told Burma’s Vice-President Tin Aung Myint Oo who arrived in China on Thursday to attend the 8th China-Asean Expo in Nanning, according to the People's Daily, the newspaper of China's ruling Communist Party. Burma’s President Thein Sein last month suspended the US $3.6 billion Myitsone hydropower dam funded by China.
